Hello! I’m Amanda Gotera.

I’ve worked in libraries, museums, and visual effects, but these days I write cartoons.

I care about making radical tv that validates and challenges young audiences, especially BIPOC and queer young folks. I love when dopey jokes intersect with big feelings. Really good science makes me cry.

I’m happy writing for any age group and in all genres, but I especially dig sci fi + fantasy worlds, period mystery, and action adventure.
